General Information and Advice:

10.00am -  1.00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 20a, Station Road, Urmston 0161 746 3940. 

Debt Advice provided by the CAB is available by appointment on the last Friday of each month.

A Tax Help Surgery is also available by appointment.

there is a 24 hour telephone messaging service outside of these hours

Our Information and Advice service provides general help for older people on a range of subjects including things like:

• Pensions,
• Income Tax,
• Making a will,
• Residential and Nursing Care,
• help with heating,
• arranging a funeral,
• crime prevention,
• retirement housing,
• renovation grants,
• dental care and doctors etc.

Speakeasy
This is an older peoples health and social care experience project which enables older people and their carers to express their views about the health and social services they receive and to have an input into their future development.  Older volunteers interview their peers to gather information on their experiences of services.  The project is particularly focused on those older people who are marginalised or excluded from usual forms of consultation such as those who are housebound or disabled.
